UK economy to be hit hardest OECD

Britain’s economy will be hit hardest by the coronavirus crisis of any country in the developed world, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has warned. The UK’s national income is expected to shrink by 11.5% in 2020, outstripping falls in countries such as Germany, France, Spain and Italy, according to the thinktank. Experts point to the UK’s reliance on the battered services sector, which makes up about three-quarters of the UK’s GDP. The OECD recommended the UK government delay the end of the transition period with the EU to “help reduce uncertainty”.

THIRD SEAL

Inflation and famine will plague the earth during World War III. Though many will starve, the wealthy will enjoy the luxuries of oil and wine.

3rd gate: The Gate to the Underworld.

Takes us deeper into our Underworld. The initiation journey always involves going into our deeper issues and those of the collective unconscious. Here we explore further how our experiences with men and women impact on our lives and how we manage it, and how we managed it in the past, especially the deeper wounding we experienced. We might also have to experience other culture’s wounding around these issues too. Through this Gateway we learn to really face our fears and not allow illusion and delusion to create our reality.

3. Earthly Heaven

I refer to the Paradise of Islam (Muslim religion) as one of the Earthly heavens. Their view of heaven is the reverse of the atheists:

  • Atheists look for heaven on earth

  • Muslims look for earth in heaven

In other words, the promise is an afterlife that is very much like life on earth but without the natural restrictions. For example: good food, lovely companions, the total victory of Muslim ideology (Sharia law – which features a severe form of male domination). A particular feature of Islam's heaven is that it appeals mainly to men and their human appetites. In their view there are levels in heaven and only a few reach the top tier to be with God.

Greed

The Worship of Mammon (1909) by Evelyn De Morgan.

Greed (Latin: avaritia), also known as avarice, cupidity, or covetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of desire. However, greed (as seen by the Church) is applied to an artificial, rapacious desire and pursuit of material possessions. Thomas Aquinas wrote, "Greed is a sin against God, just as all mortal sins, in as much as man condemns things eternal for the sake of temporal things." In Dante's Purgatory, the penitents are bound and laid face down on the ground for having concentrated excessively on earthly thoughts. Hoarding of materials or objects, theft and robbery, especially by means of violence, trickery, or manipulation of authority are all actions that may be inspired by greed. Such misdeeds can include simony, where one attempts to purchase or sell sacraments, including Holy Orders and, therefore, positions of authority in the Church hierarchy.

In the words of Henry Edward, avarice "plunges a man deep into the mire of this world, so that he makes it to be his god".

As defined outside Christian writings, greed is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs, especially with respect to material wealth. Like pride, it can lead to not just some, but all evil.
